A friend told me: "I have a weird taste when it comes to music!"
But i find it really flattering.
Coz i don't listen to the conventional sounds that the music industry is playing right now.
Masarap kasi silang pakinggan. (Based on my own pandinig!)
Kaya heto na lang ang ibabahagi ko at i am hoping that you will find time to listen to them also.
1. Video Games by Lana Del Rey
I love listening to Video Games kase may pagka deep yung voice ni Lana Del Rey at napaka feisty pa ng itsura.
Given the fact that she is really stunning, she has this compelling voice that can make someone listen to her more.
Kinda weird but i love her music video. May pagka 60s ang dating.
At i guess yun ang tipong style na gusto niyang ipakita.
2. Avenue by Agnes Obel
I bumped into her music while i was watching the Revenge series of ABC.
Ginamit siyang soundtrack sa isang episode.
After hearing her song, i tried to search it sa internet.
Luckily, i found it.
What i like about Obel's Avenue is the meaning of the song and her music inclination.
She grew up in Denmark in an unconventional environment.
She learned how to play piano in an early age.
Plus she loves to collect strange objects and instruments such as xylophone and double bass.
I like weird stuff so i like her.
Maybe some of you don't know her but she is actually famous in Europe.
And her first Album Philharmonics was a certified gold.
According to her:
I don't go out and seek inspiration, I think I get my inspiration from the melody. Sometimes I feel like a melody doesn't have anything to do with me, but it's just something that comes, is accumulated from me playing on the piano, and then this little creature just appears." —Agnes Obel about her inspiration in The Quietus
3. Love will take you by Angus and Julia stones
This sister-brother duo are soooo freaking amazing!
Ang ganda ng timbre ng boses.
They have their own unique style and unique voice in which they compliment each other.
Kaya siguro kapag pinagsama yung boses parang magic!
Una kong napakinggan ang bandang to sa soundtrack ng Breaking Dawn: The Twilight Saga in which they made a song for the said movie.
Nahook ako sa kanta nila kaya ang ending i downloaded their albums.
At maganda lahat ng kanta.
Maybe because their parents are also a folk duo before they were born, ang isa sa dahilan kung bakit lumaki sila sa mundo ng musika.
If you don't know her, she is the girl who appeared in Transformer.
Yung babaing naging robot.
So there you have it.
My top 3 favorite music on my playlist.
I just hope you had fun watching and listening to them.
